Does anyone know if the owners of the now closed Lost Penguin have opened a new restaurant? If I recall correctly, it was owned and run by a married couple, he was chef, she was out front. Lovely people, great food. Our last time eating there she said they would probably open another restaurant on Bonaire sometime after selling The Lost Penguin. I hope they are back in business!

i saw ton and ronata quite a bit last year. at that time they were doing various projects on bonaire but none of the projects involved opening a restaurant. it would be nice if they opened something again but as long as they stay on bonaire i know a lot of people will be happy.

Actually, I've heard they are relocating, or at least in the process of, to Aruba, where Ton has accepted a position. So, Bonaire's loss is Aruba's gain.

My favorite was Barracuda fish sandwich and an Amstel.

Ah, yes, eggs benedict and an espresso ... that became ritual after morning dives at Red Slave and/or Invisibles.
