Six of us spent a lovely evening on the second level of the new Chibi Chibi. Some of the waiters are from the old Parrot. The catch of the day was great. It could be ordered in several different ways. The people ordering the specialty of coconut sprimp were disappointed that there were only 4 shrimp. Service was very good.

We had a very disappointing dinner there, and were told by a certain expat. on Bonaire - to remain unnamed - that they also experienced some slowww service. Our food was fine, but service was agonizingly snail's-paced and verging on inept in the number of mistakes or omissions in our order made by our waiter. The setting is lovely, however, and I am fairly certain our experience is not standard there, but it sounds like something was going on behind the scenes that created these glitches. Had our waiter at least acknowledged the mistakes - much less noticed them - that would have smoothed out my edges a bit. Also, if we were living on Bonaire or had been spending more time there, I would have made the effort to let the manager know of our disappointment (which the aforementioned clear-sighted expat. recommended).
