I remember reading a negative post earlier about the new "It Rains Fishes"; I would like to say that last night I had my first meal at the new and improved restaurant. The ambiance was clean, modern and comfortable, and very spacious. The service was well above average; looks like they have gone to the Team waiter approach. The meal was served quickly and was very good; everyone at our table enjoyed the experience, and plan to return again before leaving the island.
We all give it TWO thumbs up, and wish them every success with the restaurant.

My husband and I had the same experience on our recent visit. We've consistently had our best meal at "It Rains Fishes" on all four of our trips to Bonaire.

I took Gord's word for it and tried It Rains Fishes tonight. I'll preface my remarks by saying that I had eaten in the old restaurant probably three times over several years and had poorly prepared and almost nasty food each time. I never remember a problem with the service, though.

Well on to tonights visit. The three of us loved the meals. The service was attentive but not hovering. The restaurant is airy and open. I like the new color scheme. The food was prepared properly and presented in fine fashion. We had two seafood pastas, loaded with goodies and I had the filet mignon. I was very tasty. We had dutch apple pie ala mode for desert and it was very good. My son had the calimari for an appetizer and I sampled some of it. Also perfect.

I wholeheartedly agree with Gord, two or in our case six thumbs up. The new owner is doing a wonderful job.
