Many, many good reataurant's on Bonaire! People have there favorites, but they are all good! Trust me, recomondations is a waste of your time... 8 is not a problem...

Wherever you choose you might want to call ahead for dinner reservations since you are a large party and will be there during "high" season. Ideas (and the list is in no way complete!) include Pasa Bon Pizza, Lions Den and Patagonia.

definitely call ahead. we call ahead almost every time we go out, even if it's just the two of us. a lot of the time we find it's not necessary but it doesn't hurt and sure makes it easier.

i would also recommend the restaurants that susan taft said plus mi banana, cactus blue, mona lisa, and city cafe.

Donna and Giorgios for Italian on the waterfront is delish too, as is Bobbiejans BBQ which is only open on the week-ends.

Agree with Ron. Many many good places to eat on Bonaire. However, for my 2 cents worth, I'll offer:
Bobbie Jans, Lions Den, Patagonias,City Cafe, and Rum Runners for Pizza. Den Lamans's offers lunch menu @ dinner if you want to keep it simple for dinner. No better value than bobbie Jans. Donna and Giorgios is on our list for our return in March. Have had it recommended-but not dined there as of this snapshot.

Just there in early December. Lions Den is still one of our favorites. Tried out Patagonia and Donna & Giorgios as new stops this trip. We loved Patagonia: the food, the atmosphere, and the service were amazing. We were a little disappointed in the breadth of the menu at Donna and Giorgio and the service was pretty slow, but the atmosphere was good and the pasta was great.

In a week over Thanksgiving, our best meal - by far - was at Capriccios.
