I just came back from having lunch at Paradise Coffee and wanted to get the word out what a great place it is!
I had a delicious tuna salad sandwich served on a toasted croissant, and a really delicious pumpkin spice latte...yum. Their selection of coffees, teas, latte's etc. rivals Starbucks.
Another bonus is their customer card - buy 9 specialty coffees, get a stamp for each and the 10th is free!

Anyone looking for Paradise can find it in Playa (Kralendijk) above the Chippie office.

Yes, but can you get an expresso frappucino, double-blended?

What's that you say? Addicted? ME?

Sorrows, I was horrified when I saw the calorie listings of those things!!! It's straight espresso IV for me! :-) I'm happy to see a coffee (local!) shop open versus a mega-conglomerate! Annette at Last Bite Bakery made me some pretty good coffee a few times also!

Mamapalooza, the expresso frappucino is not as bad as the sweeter ones, but still...it's an expensive and unhealthy monkey to carry on one's back. I am trying to break the habit, but they are so dammed good...

But I am in now way advocating that someone open a Starbuck's on Bonaire! Would much prefer NO mega-conglomerates at all!

Besides,I figure it does the body AND soul good to do without for a week or two. I usually break the coffee habit whilst on vacation--lots of sleep, lots of exercise, no internet, no cell phone--at the end of the vacation, I'm so healthy I hardly recognize myself!
