We had drinks and listened to live local music at Vespucci restaurant on Kaya Grandi at the lighthouse, near Harbor Village and on the marina. Nice views. The smoothies were actually crushed (blended) ice fruit drinks - very light and real with nothing more added, not even sugar. This wasn't what the kids expected, but after retraining them on what's real (why the junk in the US ain't the greatest for you), my daughter (10) finished hers as well as our son's last half!

I had two glasses of house Pinot Grigio. Each tasted distinctly different and I really doubt these would be found above your knees at the wine shop. Go for a better-known vinyard/winery.

Next night we returned for dinner.

Our meals were OK, but there were a couple of areas that, if improved, would have resulted in our enjoying the whole experience and food.

They serve fresh "French" bread with an olive pate' topping that's pretty good and different.

If you're thinking about trying this out in the near future, just e-mail me for more specific feedback.

Great atmosphere and you can dine marina-side.

us at Vespucci's

Eric
