Is it best to bring your own liquor or is it reasonable to buy once you get there? I was thinking of Tequila for Margeritas.

Hi It is fairly cheap here at Consales. You may also fnd it at some of the Duty free shops on the way down. I know prices may be a buck or two more in the shops but it is worth it not to have to tote the extra weight or to worry about broken bottles and saturated clothes.

Oh Michael is soooo right. Why risk it..such a hastle. You can buy in San Juan or Bonaire..I would not bring any food or liquor item as I believe the selection is good. They even have Guinness!! YOWSA to that..

James,

Antillean Wine takes phone orders and delivers them to your door for no extra charge. That's how, in recent months, a case of Guinness, several bottles of Zinfandel, and a couple of cases of sparkling wine got into our house :-)

See http://www.AntilleanWine.com - I believe their Web site is in the process of being updated in the next week or so.

Jake

Thanks guys. Being the good Irishman that I am, it would be a much finer day in the fair isles with a pint of Guinness in me hand. Slainte!! Seamus Tomas Padraig MacPeake
