We had dinner at a new restaurant specializing in food from Peru. Sorry...can't remember the name as it is in Spanish. The name means something like "small patio in Lima." It is located on the south end of the main street in town just north from the tourist office. We had Ceviche for an appetizer...fantastic. I had mixed grill of wood roasted chicken, beef, and ribs which was excellent...so much food I had half of it for lunch the next day. My wife had ribs...the best yet on Bonaire in my opinion. Lots of meat, very tender and cooked perfectly. We sat in a covered outdoor area in back, had good service, a nice breeze and good South African red wine. We will go back for sure.

Jim, is it called Plazita Limena? Several BTers have recommended this gem... will have to add it to my list for next time ! I think it was the former Seahorse Cyber Cafe.

oh my GOSH..had lunch there..WOW, super Ceviche, great chicken (1/4) and lovely roasted potatoes. Chimichuri sauce and some other yellow sauce. My friend had Lomito and loved it. Great place..slow service but we are rarely in a hurry living on this lovely island so enjoyed the breezy outdoor setting and a lovely day in Bonaire.
