We are in Bonaire now and loving it. Saw some messages about "mi banana'? Where would we find that? Had dinner at the Yacht Club Apartment Restaurant tonight - nice many dish Indonesian Rice table dinner.

I did a search and this is what I came up with:

It's on the road to More For Less. Turn right just after the big yellow Catholic church in town, and follow that road a ways, it's on the right just before More For Less

i'm not sure of their hours or days of operation. We went there Thursday night and they weren't open. Another option for inexpensive, but great food is El Fogon. It's on Kaya Niikoboda South - the road is closed just before them, but you can park and walk across the construction. (it's just south of the road that Lisa Gas is on).

We ate there 2x times last week - for $10 you get Dorado filet, "salad" (really more like coleslaw with a slice of tomato), rice & choice of yucca/plantains/french fries. My son had 1/2 roasted chicken with same side dishes for $6. My husband and son fought over my small roll - little puffs of fried dough that smelled wonderful.

The "puffs" are made of corn meal and called empanada's.
You dont have to walk over the construction. You can take a left, the next right, then the next right...I agree..great food..especially the soups...seafood chowder is my favorite...
