I have not been to Bonaire for 2 years and stayed at Buddy's but I am staying at a condo this time with no restaurant. I looked in the archives and found The Great Escape. But where else would you recommend for breakfast that is not a huge breakfast buffet in January?

How about a take away breakfast from Last Bite Bakery? Take your coffee and muffins onto the seafront and perhaps share with the pelicans.

Casey, the Lost Penguin used to be the place to go for breakfast...but the owners sold it and it's called Papaya Moon. They do serve breakfast.

Bongo's also serves breakfast (that's where the cams are).

I also recommend the Last Bite Bakery, and Great Escape:-):-):-)

Papaya Moon is the new Crocantino..Papaguyo is the new Lost Penguin...Also try the breakfast at Den Laman at the Sand Dollar. It is good and quite reasonable.

The City Cafe has a very good breakfast. Last year, on the days Lost Penguin was closed, we went to City Cafe. We plan to breakfast there when we return to Bonaire in 22 DAYS!!!

So, how is Papaguyo for breakfast? I'm REALLY going to miss LP and Renota and Ton!

I do recommend the breakfast at Den Laman, if Sonja and Eddie are still the ones there!! Good food, pleasant people, and the best view...

I'm on my way Thursday -- first to Aruba for 3 days on a beach, then arriving in BON on Sunday, for 5-1/2 weeks at my favorite place: Bonaire Town Homes. See y'all soon!

What is the breakfast at The Plaza Resort like? Is it worth $15??

How about Bongos?

Casey,

One of our favorites for breakfast is City Cafe. You can't beat the view of the waterfront as you enjoy a large plate of eggs, toast, bacon, fruit cup, juice and coffee for about $8.00 US!

If eggs aren't your thing, I believe they have other offerings.

This is the first place we stop to fill up when we arrive from Houston on the overnight flight. I think they open up at 7:00 in the morning.
