Wanda and I need 19 places to have dinner between the 14th of Oct and the 04 of Nov.
Our tastes run from hot dogs to the catch of the day to blue cheese steak.
Quiet and romantic work well--but City Cafe also works well.

If you want quiet and romantic, there is a private dining area at Cactus Blue or you may want dine in the garden at Flamboyant or Crocantino. I am sure with 18 or so, they will be happy to arrange any menu you may comoe up with.

Bamboo. A delightful dining experience! Nice outside dining if desired, also over looking the harbor.

I agree with Cobra One, go local for some of your meals. My local favorite is Antriol Catering. Then again El Fogon has a seafood chowder which is delicious. Next trip I am hoping to visit Anthony's Extreme Cuisine and other local places. Of course Swiss Chalet and Croccatino's are on my "must do" list every trip.

If you want hot dogs... don't forget to try Junior's stand up at Karpata. He's not there every day, but if you find him there, the "dogs" are great (and huge!)

Junior's hot dog heaven

We have been to Karpata a couple of times and Jr. is never open. Any idea of his hours--or days of operation?
Mi Bananna--I've never heard--where is China Nobo?

Thanks for the information and hints.
Dave

Don't forget Donna and Georgio's. It is now on the waterfront. You will need a reservation even in slow season.
Save a night for me, Norma and her friend Rhonda!! :-)

My favorite is Den Laman. Really good food, and seaside dining. (Hence the name Den Laman!) Decent wine list, reasonably priced. good service. What more could you want? Charlotte and Leo have always treated me well. It is located in the Den Laman resort which is next to Sand Dollar resort.

I also like to eat at Coco Palms, a sort of exotic buffet served in the garden You must call ahead and let them know you are coming, it is only on certain nights. Everyone arrives at about the same time(6:30 or 7:00) You can order a drink at the bar, and then everyone is seated at the same time. A mostly European crowd. Really lovely.

My favorite meal on Bonaire, not in a restaurant is a picnic at the fishermans hut at dusk. Usually secluded at that time, back your truck up and watch the sunset tailgate style. A loaf of bread, a jug of wine and.... well, you know!!!! Very ,very romantic!

Hi David,
China Nobo:
Do you know where Lisa Gas is?
It's is one more major intersection east from Lisa Gas, then ahead on the right.
Street names: just east of the intersection of Kaya Industira and Kaya Nikiboko Zuid.
here is a map.

16 sleeps to paradise!!
I wonder what the most weight anybody has gained while on Bon?
Mare--Thanks for the map. I've heard mention of a dining guide you can get at the airport--hopefully all restaurants are listed.

Thanks to all.

Garden Cafe! Fresh, delicious, wholesome food made with pride. Traditional Lebanese menu plus great grilled ribs and meats. Great burgers and pizza if you must, but why not try something different and fantastic? Lebanese fare made fresh to order; baba ghanuge-mashed roasted eggplant & sesame sauce, hummus, pita, tabbouleh-parsley salad with cracked wheat, tomato, onion & lemon juice, falafel. Try the Deluxe Lebanese Plate. Vegetarians will love this place, and so will everyone else! Also, ask for the Sangria- like everything else on the menu made fresh with the best ingredients!
