Hi, Every time we come to the island we always eat Pasa Bon's fantastic pizza at least three times. But this last trip, after the must-have three pizzas, the next visit to Pasa Bon I went wild and ordered something different - Joe's lasagna! Let me just say that I think it is the BEST lasagna I have ever had!!! Joe says the recipe is from his old friend's Napolitano grandmother. Well he does her proud, and puts a tremendous amount of work into making an exceptional dish. Also the portion is huge so you can share - or not!!! Lasagna for next day lunch, anyone? Bravo, Joe!

Blue, we totally agree with your assessment of Joe's lasagna - the perfect large, tasty carb fix you need after three or four 90 minute dives!

hmmm... i'll have to try it, too bad I have to wait for tomorrow, because we're doing a night dive tonight & I was thinking about take-out. i think their pizza is great, way better than i would have expected to get on Bonaire. I've tried the lasagna at 3 other places on the island and I wasn't too impressed. I was also thinking about trying a Pasa Bon calzone... anyone ever had one? Now if they only had Panzerotti & Sicilian pies I could stop vacationing in NJ ;)

jenny, i don't think they are open tonight anyway. unless they changed their schedule they are open from wednesday to sunday 5PM-11PM

My Wife swears by the Vegetarian Pasta. She claims that it is the best on the island!

I have had the calzone - it was delicious!!

Well Tim & I just finished our takeout from Pasa Bon Pizza... We got 2 orders of lasagna & 2 small garden salads. You are so right - it is the best lasagna I have ever had!!! The lasagna at other places on Bonaire doesn't even compare to it. It is even better than my mom's lasagna.

The portion was HUGE! Tim & I both have pretty big appetites, but the entire second order went in the fridge for tomorrow. It was so good we wanted desperately to eat more, but I am so stuffed right now Tim will have to roll me into the water tonight!

Jenny, We have had calzones at Pasa Bon Pizza and they are GREAT!!!! We really enjoy EVERYTHING that Joe and Lisa cook at Pasa Bon Pizza....can't wait to eat there in Oct.!!!!

I had their pizza and calzones, very good. Then I had their lasagna. Oh my! With the spicy sausage and much garlic, incredible! A large portion? Yes. But I do not share mine.
