Does anyone have experience with a "Eurotech" gas oven? Our house here on Bonaire has one & I finally figured out how to get it started, but the temperature settings remain a mystery...

There are two dials: one is a timer, the other is presumably temperature. The temperature dial has numbers 1 thru 8, and I have no clue how this corresponds to to any temperature scale.

Can anyone help me with this, perhaps give me a conversion to degrees or Farenheit (or Celsius or Kelvin for that matter!) The only thing I've cooked in it is baked ziti - we're getting sick of it & I'd like to cook some meat. I've done a google but I can't find anything.

Think Oven Thermometer. That is the only way to know.

The “marks” be they 1, 2, 3 -> or 350, 375, 400 -> may say one thing but to really know and for consistency get a oven thermometer

Hey Walt

This is a side I have never seen in you.

New age hard ass diver?

Maybe you could teach the new UK sport "extreme ironing" you get points for the number of divers ironing, the depth and the duration. I will try and find a link...

But you would probably need a very very long power cord

Maybe Bonaire could have a new danger sport "Extreme Baking"
