Just returned from a 2 week trip and had a fabulous time. Our first place that we had dinner at was Cactus Blue. Corinne was so wonderful. We had our 13 yo son with us and she came out and greeted us and when she found out that he dives she got out a map and marked the sites that she has taken her children to. It was a huge help and much appreciated. We also stopped back for our last meal and updated her on our stay and thanked her for her hospitality. The food was wonderful and the service exceptional. When we come back another year we will certainly come back to Cactus Blue.

We also had a couple of meals at China Nobo after we had been referred by some other BT'ers. The food was really wonderful and the owner so very nice. She was quite accomodating and made sure everything was just as we had asked.

We stopped one evening towards the end of our stay and a little brazillian place by the mall. I feel bad because I forgot the name, but it is the very colorful place on the waterfront with a pink, & teal bar. The spices on the food were spectacular. I had the chicken with mango sauce and my hubby the fish. It was lick the plate clean good. The service was friendly. A must eat at and a bummer that we tried it so late in our trip.

Did not know my wife posted this! How does Cactus Blue compare with Casablanca? (new vs. old) I thought Cactus Blue was super. Mike

The name of the Brazilian place is Pinchos de Brazil. I had to laugh because Carolyn had the Mabo Chicken and I had the fish (Wahoo with garlic sauce). They were great.

I also agree with your sentiments on China Nobo - a real gem and very inexpensive.
