I'm a big fan of BBQ ribs but they have to be spare ribs rather than baby back ribs. Ok, call me fussy. Is this available anywhere on Bonaire?

Gibi does amazing ribs. Does anyone know if that's on his regular menu? My husband is still talking about the ribs from my birthday party during our October trip! They are very very very good.

Bobbejans Takeaway has really good ribs too. Both places are verey reasonably priced.

The Ribs Factory has very good ribs, etc. They have great views of the downtown. The service is great, too. It is located in the center of town on the second floor sort of above KFC.

Carnercia Latino on Sat morning..
Ed, I know what you mean on the BB ribs. My opinion they are way overrated (but don't tell the public this). I'll be grilling multiple sides of spare ribs this Sunday over hickory smoke..Hmmmm..Oops, gotta go & put my dry rub on the ribs now..

Carneceria Latina is the real deal, slow cooked in a smoker over hardwood charcoal, no gooey sauce; also great chicken. Alas, we are arriving and leaving on Saturdays in July, so no ribs.

Better eat on the fly than fly on the eats!

Well, several of you have indicated that the ribs at __________ are great. I'll take your word for it BUT, are they baby back ribs (which are usually very tender, fall off the bone) or spare ribs which are firmer. I know many people like the baby back ribs but I'm specifically looking for spare ribs. So, are do of the previously mentioned ribs fit the bill?

I have not heard Carneceria Latino mentioned previously. What is the story with them? Where are they, are they a take out only place? Do they only have ribs on Saturday mornings?
