We take our grinder and two pounds of Kenya AA - the tap water is free of weird chemicals (desalinated) and is fine for coffee. Most places have coffee makers. Sit on the balcony or deck or beach and have your first cup before going off to find the goliath grouper or a frogfish... Congratulations and good luck. And be sure to hydrate - that's our mantra when diving in the tropics: "hy-drate, hy-drate... ommmm"

i'd suggest bring your own - pre ground - the funky voltage could burn up your grinder...

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Sounds like bringing our own preground is the way to go.

We bring our own as well. But if in town stop at Lost Penguin for a very good cup. Be sure to request American coffee.

When on Bonaire I get coffee,Aroma Rode,I think it is dutch coffee, at cultimare and make it in the coffee maker. It seems richer than american coffee and finer grinde. I bring some home and put it in the freezer and take it out to give friends a treat.

The coffee Loraine means is a Dutch coffee.

I will bring my Starbucks preground. You can find the Sensao machine at Cosco and Sam's in the U.S. I've tasted their pod coffee. It's pretty good but anything I drink has to be able to support a spoon straight up.

I'm alittle partial to Douwe Egberts with the black label. This must be a darker roast than the red, I think. It has quite a bit of flavor! And good complexity too, with just a wee bit of bite. If you are a coffee person, definitely try this and bring some back home if you like it!

Yes, the best coffee is Douwe Egberts -we prefer the red package or medium roast. Nothing better than making your own and being able to relax.
