It's for sale.
Owner wants to go into the cactus juice business.

I assume that we are talking about Raja's Garden Cafe here; he was talking about his idea for a potent potable enterprise last August. But please tell me he's not actually selling the Garden Cafe.......

Scott, I heard it is really up for sale too. :-(

I never knew you could make, I think it is Tequilla from cactus, but he is really into the idea, not sure if he is actually going to follow through with it, but there is mention of this somewhere in the archives, I don't remember under what topic though.

We have enjoyed and hope to keep enjoying the Garden Cafe even if he sells, maybe they will keep the same sort of menu?

Tequilla has always been made from cactus, actually in the family, Agave. Heres the link
http://www.web9000.com/webby/tequila/teq5.html.
We are margarita lovers and sounds like he will use the right ingredients as it must contain the Agave to be called Tequilla

Last Feb Raja gave me some tips on how he makes some of the items on his menu. He informed me at that time he's becoming a bit tired. He's 70+ after all. If he can't sell, he will just close down.
Our loss!
