These are only my opinions, I am not a professional at this, I do like to eat though and know good food! I hope these provide some useful info. I'll start out with the restaurant that seems to be causing quite the stir!
Cactus Blue: Greeted very warmly when we arrived. My son was very sleepy so one of the staff (I'm sorry I forget her name) took him and gave him a balloon and some candy to eat if he promised to eat his dinner. He came back smiley and wide awake. We enjoyed a very nice meal of curried chicken, jerk chicken and grouper for the kids.Everything tasted wonderful! Owner said hello and asked how we were and how the food was. We skipped dessert because we were full. Overall a very nice experience with good food. We liked the fact that the menu included many local/carribbean food. The only complaint (a very minor one) was that we had to wait a long time for the bill. My daughter fell asleep while waiting. A nice place with very nice people and good food, you can't go wrong!
Casablanca - YUM!! Great food HUGE portions and very friendly staff even when they are busy they take the time to acknowledge each and every patron. We had fish, chicken and mixed grill, all were excellent! Very good prices too. It's a pretty restaurant and fun!
La Guernica - Excellent tapas, nice staff, it's a little intimidating sitting so close to the street but you get used to it. We ordered 9 tapas for 4 of us and we were stuffed! A great place for variety and if you can't make up your mind what you want to eat, just order it all! Mussels and shrimp were awesome!
Bambu - Cool looking restaurant, nice staff, very good beef but a very limited menu. They also served large portions.
Donna and Giorgios - Nice restaurant, nice staff and good home style Italian food! We ate in one time and took away pizza another. The pizza was authentic and very delicious!
Chibi Chibi - Good food, professional staff and pretty location.
Richards - Richard was charming as always, food was delicious and setting beautiful! A little higher priced than some places but you get quality food.
Last Bite Bakery - YUMMY!!!! Owner is from New Orleans and very nice! She was only open 1 day while we were there but her baked goods were delicious, blueberry muffins, cinnamon rolls and her cakes are gorgeous. Very inexpensive too!
So, you can see we had great experiences at all the places we ate. EVERY single place was very eager to please us and the children, offering to make special chicken or fish fingers or cut in half any meal the children would want. We had a wonderful time dining and enjoyed all the food we ate at the various places!

Good review...thanks

Note - Last Bite Bakery is now open in a store-front north of town (on the east side) on main road (Kaya Grande?). Annette has painted her portion of the building a deep red. She was rushing to open the first week of April but, alas, we left the island on the 6th before the store opened.

We did order Quiche, Key-Lime Pie and Carrot Cake from her during our stay. Yummy :-) :-)

Rosanne, sounds like you had good meals at all the places you chose!

Linda...not fair posting that delicious cake pic! I know Annette has been working hard on getting her place open. I had her make a birthday cake for David, the boy we sponsor at the Hoppner home last year, and she made one for him again this year (his B-day was yesterday). She also made Yana and Kelly's b-day cake last Oct...boy does that make me HUNGRY!
