Hi - forgive me if I missed this somewhere, but does Cultimara take credit cards. I saw the thread that discussed Warehouse but didn't see Cultimara payment discussions. I gather from what I've read here that most restaurants take credit cards. Do most of the grocery places take them too? We're leaving tomorrow!!! Thanks so much, sue

I can confirm that as of last August they accepted credit cards. Cultimara even accepted the dreaded AMEX - which made me so very happy!

Susan, Cultimara accepts credit cards. You must however, bring your own grocery bags (they do have paper bags but hand them out sparingly). Also, if a child bags your groceries, please keep in mind they like a little tip (especially if they help you out with the groceries).

At Warehouse you have to bag your own groceries as well, but they have a big area by the checkout stands that are full of boxes that you can use.

Another point to keep in mind, Susan, is that from time to time the CC machines at Cultimara aren't working - "the lines are down." In which case you will need cash, if your cart is already loaded with your groceries! There is an ATM just around the corner.

Just shopped both, Cultimara on the 1st of July, itdoes take credit cards, the Warehouse today the 3rd of July, it does take a credit card if you purchase $100 or more.

Warehouse much classier and cleaner but the bread at Culimara seems to be a better varity. Right now the Culimara seems to have low stock on some things...

Rob, isn't the credit card minimum NAF100 (US$65ish - I can never remember the exact exchange rate) at Warehouse?

I thought the cashier said $100 but it could have been 100 NAF?

It is $100 US at warehouse. For locals they use their PIN card in nafl for any amount.

No travelers checks at Warehouse, tho, right Michael? Hugs....Carole
