I had an amazing dinner at Bamboo last night after the grand opening of Donna and Giorgios. First Donna and Giorgio have created a lovely seaside dining spot. What a party last night. Congrats and good luck.

After a friend took me to dinner to Bamboo. This was my first time and surely not my last. It took a bit to get waited on but once we got our waiter (who was once my waiter at Mai Mai and is super) we had a flawless meal. My asparagus soup was incredible. My dinner companions Foie Gras was amazing and I am not a fan of this..I had sushi grade seared tuna..fabulous..she pronounced her veal wonderful. The presentation was incredible and the setting magical. Oh the red wine and the appropriate wine glass topped of the night. Bamboo is great! Sadly our waiter returns to Holland soon but he was wonderful. I cannot comment on prices as I was treated but it was a super night...

It is spelled Bambu, and it is where Mahi Mahi (or however it was spelled) was, a little north of Dive Inn. It serves excellent food, but a bit pricey.

Meryl, it is across from the South pier, so just north of the Dive Inn and ChaCha beach. Haven't tried it - it never appeared to be open when we were last on Bonaire. Ann makes it sound divine!

Donna & Georgio's is next to the Dive Inn on the water road just before Divi Flamingo Resort. Had a fabulous opening party the Monday night! The renovated old Bonaire home was beautifully done and with Donna's touch's the place already feels like it's been there for a long time. Great place for happy hour with sunset views! Susan

Does Bambu face the water? What type of food is served?
Are the two restaurants near each other?

Bambu is jammed up against La Luna on one side. The front faces the water. There is also dining along the other side, so not all tables have water views.
The food is eclectic, no particular type.
Donna and Georgio's is a 40 second walk south from Bambu on the way to Divi. It is right next to Dive Inn.
