My wife and I are planning to be at Gibi's Feb 7th for our first time. Anyone else planning to be there that night? Maybe we could get a list going. Kent and Kim Gerber

Nina & I arrive on Feb 2 so you can bet we'll be there! Hopefully some goat stew will be on the menu
(but what ever Gibi whips up is usually pretty good). Last year when we were there the electric was out..What a hoot!

My son and I will be in Bonaire then. We have not been there before but I think we will give it a try this time. Every since the Green Parrot was washed away for the last time, I always have one night I am not sure what I want to do, so..... Hope to see others there.

Tish -- the kittens are wonderful. Now all growed up, but still full of fun and energy. Later, when I remember how to do so, I'll post a picture. We just got back from Thailand and Vietnam and still in major jet-lag, so brain isn't working properly yet!!

Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
Josie

Josie, make sure you get all the bread and garlic butter you want before Martin arrives...LOL!

For those of you going to Gibi's, please remember to call him and let him know how many in your party as a courtesy. It's so much easier to plan that way and not run out of certain items (like the fabulous fried chicken!)

Can anybody join this dinner party at gibi's on tuesdays or is more of a "private" party? I've never been to Bonaire before, but will be there from the 2nd feb. and sounds like a great way of meeting people on the island.
Iben

Iben, it is open to one and all! It's a fabulous way to meet a lot of other BT'ers, share diving stories, bonaire stories, etc. It is at Gibi's home, and he is a native Bonairian, so it is just local great fun!

Cheryl, the fried chicken is to die for. It isn't fried like batter fried, it's more grill fried and he uses some fabulous spices as well.

We will be at Gibi's the 14th and maybe some other nights also. Cam, Sheryl, Joe, Pat, and myself. Cam started the flags at Gibi's last Feb. Ed and Liz were there also that night. Gibi's is a MUST DO in my book while on Bonaire. Food is good but Gibi is a special person. Way too much fun with a group of BT ers.
