Is the new Den Leman restaurant open yet? Does anyone have any reviews?

Yes Scott it is! I've eaten there 2 times for dinner and it was excellent, service, food, ambience. They also have a beautiful view, great to have a sunset dinner there.

Thanks, Liz. Can ya give me an idea of what kind of food and price range (for the sake of reference, low=Maiky Snack, moderate=Rum Runners, high=Capriccio's)? We're returning for our eighth trip this Sunday and are always interested in checking out new places.

We have eaten there twice as well. The views are amazing. The decor is very modern and upscale. Enjoy!

I would say moderate to high, depending on what you get. You could get out of there a dinner for two, soup to nuts for around $60.00

Just had a wonderful dinner there tonight and would say........Don't miss this place!!!!! The service was supurb, the food fantastic ( I had perfect Tuna and my hubby had veggie lasagna, both of us the pumpkin soup...yummy). The drinks special (pina colodas), with fun things around the glass and very tasty. No room for dessert! The view was very romantic and lovely by the sea and the decor was perfect. The restrooms were very clean and well kept.
This would be a perfect place for a special dinner or party or reception. Very lovely. We will go again while we are here.
Certainly a MUST DO!!! :-)

We diving with Bonaire Dive and Adventure (right next door)August 6-13 and so ate breakfast and lunch at Den Lanam once. The breakfast buffet was lovely, though we ate in our condo after the first day to keep cost down. The lunch was very tasty, but we thought very pricey; $55 for 3 with no alcohol.
It is brand new, with very nice views, very good and very pleasant service. We decided to eat lunches in and go out for dinners only. I suspect it isn't much pricier for dinner than lunch.

We had dinner there last Sunday night. View/atmosphere were superb, service pretty good, prices fairly high, food a mixed bag. We experienced what I've found to be a fairly common but confounding scenario: excellent appetizers, mediocre entrees. The pumpkin soup with cream cheese pastry puff was very good, and an appetizer of smoked salmon/cucumber/shredded radish/homemade potato crisps was creative, beautiful, and absolutely delicious. Entrees descended rapidly into the fair-to-mediocre at best category: one dish featured grouper that was quite dry and contained a good amount of annoying small bones, and the other dish, a seafood pasta, contained slightly off-tasting shrimp, dry fish, and completely inedible small chunks of squid that were beyond rubbery and had achieved a nearly rock-like texture. Sort of expect better food for about 20 bucks per entree, but, again, the dishes were fair, not horrible, and the appetizers were great. Would we try it again? Hmmmmm......

Seb, Nope. It was gone when I stopped by there last week. Thought the place looked nice, but unless I wanted gourmet food, nothing there for kids on their menu, I walked out. Now, the Barracuda Club was great! It is where the old Mango's was and they really fixed the place up, great service and food all at a reasonable price, but each to it's own. I usually have kids in tow, so some places are not suitable for them to enjoy a meal as well was all I was saying there, can't comment on their food as I never ate it.

We had a "business" lunch there last Tuesday. A variety of things were ordered from the menu and it was all superb.
