I was very disappointed to find that the bar at Sand Dollar no longer served the Saluto beer. I loved it and had been harboring a thirst for it. bummmer....is there another bar that had it or do I have to travel to Europe to get it?

I believe Salutos was an occasional specialty of the then-owner so it may have gone when she sold the restaurant. Ask downtown at the KFC (same owner, don't know about a liquor license there!).

Although we do sell beer at the KFC, Salitos is just no longer available here (on Bonaire, as far as I know). We tried to order a pallet from Germany, but it just didn't work (I didn't think customers would want to pay +$10/bottle, which is what I would've had to charge...). I miss it too.
