I remember reading something recently on them. Going to try them out this month, going Aug 19 to Sept. 3rd. Here is the link to the review. Hope it works.

It is located about 1/2 way down the post by Drazic. Sounds pretty good.

Hi Sue, everything I've heard so far has been great. Really good food, and a lot of it, for a reasonable price. Can't wait to check it out for myself! (in just 49 short days, but who's counting)

Super burgers and tenderloin and ribs...fun setting..great hosts...cheap too..Also a great place to go upon arrival on the AA night flight. They prepare food into the later hours, as I know.

Ann, I noticed that from someone else posting, now that you mentioned the later hours, well, that is exactly where my son and I are going next Friday after my AA flight gets in. Do you know if they take American money/credit cards as I will not have any NAF on me till the next day?

Hi Debbie,
We eat there a lot these days. They accept all major credit cards and US$. They are open till midnight and the kitchen as well.
We love Stiflers because the food is superb and the prices amazing low.
You have to try their burgers! If you order the Burgermeister, you'll never gonna believe your eyes. It is 1 feet high!!!!
The owners told us that they have a website now, were you also can view the menucard and the prices. The address is: www.stiflers-bonaire.com

Thanks for the info. It's good to know it's open late. As long as they don't mind wet hair, it'll be a good place to go after night diving.

Okay, Cynde and Kelly, I think we have a place to dine when I get in on Sunday...hmmm you may want to take Cynde and Margarite the night before as well....:-):-):-)

Babs...that's my anniversary with Michael (virtually?):-(...Kelly, Steve, Norma, and I (and anyone else) are planning an early dinner at Croccatinos (I can't wait that late to eat dinner with my IR...just ask Kelly!)...but we can take you there after we pick you up and have a second dinner...providing AE is on time (which it has never been for me...always an hour to 2 hours delayed getting out of SJ for some reason or another):-(

As I can't read Dutch, what does the name of the restaurant have to do with the movie American Pie, and I couldn't find their hours...I'm hoping they are open all day...another option to eat a late lunch between dives!

It looks like the old "Rendez-vous" location. The menu does look very enticing, too. Have to try it out next time we are on Bonaire.

Aha, I see That Andy already pointed the location out on the previous thread. I'm just a little behind today! LOL.

Can't wait for more reviews on Stiflers. Carole

They are open from monday - saturday from 5.00 pm till after midnight and closed on sunday.
The location is in the old Rendez-Vous.
I can't read Dutch and asked the owners if there would be a english website as well. They told me that they were working on a english translation and publish it soon.
Their name Stiflers is from the movie American Pie. It is named after the character Steve Stifler, the stifmeister.

Cynde,
The "Stiflers" site now has english translations!

From their site:

What's in a name! The name STIFLERS:
Lots of people ask us where the name Stiflers comes from. The name Stiflers is based on the character Steve Stifler from the motion picture American Pie.

Veel mensen vragen ons waar de naam Stiflers vandaan komt. De naam Stiflers is ontleent aan het filmpersonage Steve Stifler uit de American Pie films.

GET STUFFED AT STIFLERS!

Cynde ~ the owners were wonderful. We went to dinner early (first ones in the restaurant) and got a chance to speak with them for a little while. They were friendly and very outgoing. I would highly recommend going there. Good food, good prices, fast service, and very friendly service. The "boys" were not able to finish those burgers!

OMG is right!! The burgers in Jeanine's photo look large enough to feed a person for days.

Wonder if Stifler's mother works there.

Impressive indeed! I wish I took a picture of my "regular" sized burger. I couldn't finish it and it was their normal cheeseburger. Definitely worth a trip!
