Attention Parrot-Heads! Which way do I steer to get that carnivorous feast on which I feed? A Cheeseburger in Paradise?

Martha,
The three I have heard are popular are Bongos at Eden Beach Resort, Lions Den resort and City Cafe. The only one I have personal experience with is City Cafe- the burger is good and the fries are awesome. The waterfront there can get a bit noisy (weekends) but fun people-watching.

Lions Den for the best bacon bleau burger in the world! The regular burger with cheese is super as well. City Cafe's are good, but the roll is a dinner roll size, have to bring my own roll next time there. Debbie

Martha,

I second the recommendation for Lions Den - their burgers and fries are awesome.

Martha, Chibi Chibi has a decent burger, too, down at the Divi Flamingo. I love their American burger with bacon and cheese....not too shabby and juicy as all get-out....terrific crisp fries and lettuce and tomato come with it too. Have fun!! Carole

Chibi Chibi is a great place for lunch, too, as you are seated on the water and can watch the fish and the sunsets, etc. (later on, that is). You can order one for dinner, too, just ask. cb

Don't forget about Julios! Ann, Kelly's gone for a week, but we will HAVE to go there for a burger (Rendevous). What other type of food are they serving?

OK Ann, it's now on the offical list. Do you know what their hours are (are they closed between lunch and dinner)?

Hey Cynde,

Well I think they are open M-Sat. No lunches as I know. Very casual and fun. A Tex Mex decor with a little dive/windsurf decor added to make it really cool and funky. I love the owners. Really good people who want to please their customers. Glad it's on the official list.

:-)

WE also had dinner at the former Rendez-Vous. It is now called Stiflers Bar & GRill. WE were so surprised last night because their burgers were huge! WE never ate a burger that size and we loved it. They tasted super. We overlooked the menu and the prices were amazing low. You can eat there for about 10 to 15 naf each, and you are FULL! My husband had the mixed grill and became more than a kilo of meat!!!

My buddy and I are making our second pilgrimage to Bon 2-12 October and I've got to ask. No one has mentioned Whattaburger. Have they closed? We enjoyed lunch there several times two years ago- good burgers, a great view, and very convenient after Wannadive's boat dropped us off at the Town Pier. We've been looking forward to eating there again.

Jeff, they are indeed closed. I agree, it was a great place to stop and get a burger during degas timing in the late afternoon. However, Julios, which is just around the corner from the Lost Penguin, at the end of the main street is supposed to have great burgers...in March, we hit Bongo's a few afternoons when we needed lunch at it was great! They are open all day, so no worries about it being closed!

Sitflers is open monday - saturday from 5.00 pm till after midnight and closed on sunday.:-( Just wouldn't want you to try to go there for lunch, like what Whattaburger was so good for! Julios and Bongos are open all day, so you can grab a burger there anytime. We usually have a late lunch due to our diving schedule, and so these places are good to know about!

open from x

It is a deal. FYI any cheddar other than Cabot..... well you might as well eat the wrapping that covers it.
