Many of you may know this already, but for those that don't, Wil Heemskerk, formerly the chef at the Lighthouse restaurant has opened his own place called Wil's Tropical Grill, located right in the center of town (down the street from Cultimara) and it's excellent.

Don't miss the frozen lime mousse there either, and their Lemon Twist frozen drinks are wonderful.

Definitely our favorite place! That frozen lime mousse with blackberry sauce is absolutely amazing! Also try the "Blue Lagoon" mixed drink.

We visited Wil's Tropical Grill twice during this past week. The first time we had a full meal with conch fritters to start and ending with one shared chocolate lava cake. The second time we just had to return for more lava cake(one each this time), and since it takes 20 minutes to be made fresh for you, we ordered 3 appetizers while waiting(we weren't hungry for a full dinner). Both times the food and sauces were excellent and a good value for the money. Great place for fish with nice sauces. The alioli sauce with the conch fritters is outstanding. Martha Rhoades
