Can someone say a little about Bongo's? I understand that they stay open until 2 am on Sat. and Sun. nights. Does that mean it's raucous some nights -- and what does that do to people who are sleeping in the Eden Beach Resort?

Thanks!

Snorkeljohn, Bongo's has great food, and isn't known for "raucous nights"....Karel's is about the only place in town where you will find noise and partying late at night...It's a great Caribbean low key eat your food, drink your beer, and rub your feet in the sand place while you watch the sunset and hang out and chat with other island lovers:-)

I have stayed at Eden Beach four times, noise from Bongo's was never an issue.

I stayed in the apartment directly across from Bongo's at the Eden Beach. My bedroom window looked out at the bar below. Noise was NO problem whatsoever and I am a very light sleeper.

2am? News to me, and I've stayed there three times. If there ever was a rauscous coming from Bongos, I would have to go down to check it out cause it would probably be something I would not want to miss.:-) Other than that, good food and drink and nice folks in a setting you can't beat. IMHO

Snorkeljohn,
It has been brought to my attention that if there was something going on at Bongos at 2am I would probably be in the middle of it, if not the cause of it:-):-)

Sorry in advance:-)
