It actually is something in between. Thicker than crepes and larger and thinner than American pancakes

Robert, You can get pannekoeken at Lac Cai on Sundays, at the weekend bar. They are antillian style though, a little sweeter than the Dutch ones, and sometimes have pumpkin (pompoen) in it. I love them even more than the Dutch pancakes, in fact, I bake them myself too, now, got the recipe from an Antillian women. They are called "repa" in Papiamentu.

I will do my best to make sure I can test out the repa then. :-)

Only four months to go.

(Had some great pannekoeken on Aruba last week though!)

Ok, I now know what a pannekoeken is but I'm still in the dark as to the other item, krokets. Please let the rest of us ill informed lurkers in on the secret! :-)

Thanks - Tim

Karin, care to share the recipe?

Tim, krokets are "croquettes" usually a minced veal (sometimes beef) kind of thing. Basically a bigger, firmer version of bitterballen.
