A few years ago, my wife and I were in Bonaire... on advice we went to a place for barbecue ribs ... they weren't open every night...the ribs or sauce on the ribs whatever was excellent...it was very down home and I think it was just a little north of the downtown area...anyone know the name so I can find it again.

Tom - I think you are talking about Bobbejeans (don't know if spelling is correct). Great ribs and chicken - open - Fri - Sun!!

Its on road off to the left (as you are going north) before you get to Pasa Bon Pizza. There is a sign on the Building - I can see it - and could drive right there - but to give complete directions - sorry I can't give the details.

When are you going? Where will you be staying?

Thanks - those directions will work fine ... my son (21st birthday) and I are going Feb 26-Mar 5, we stay at the BonaireVillageVillas (inland but great deal). We dive day and night, but I wanted to take him to bobby-jeans whatever for his birthday.

Tom,

It's on the catticorner (spelled???) north to Donna & Giorgios Restaurant.

Open from 6pm on Fri, Sat, Sun. and also at lunch time on Sun (I think from 12 - 2 or 3).

Yummy, we go at least once a weekend :-)
Enjoy !!

Annette

The ribs are great, but do NOT go there without trying the chicken sate. Best I've ever had, tho the ribs are excellent as well.
