Haven't been to Bonaire in a couple of years. Was originally thinking about Richard's for Valentine's, then saw the poor marks. Was happy to see things seem to have returned to what I remember based on more recent posts, but now I realize that Valentine's is on a Monday and since they're typically closed on Mondays, I guess Richard's is still out.

So....any other thoughts? I do recall Capriccio fondly. Remember Mona Lisa, but truthfully don't remember the meal, but a few good times hanging out in the bar.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Mona Lisa is our favorite restaurant on Bonaire-their food is terrific. Make reservations if you decide to go...

A second choice for Valentine's Day would be Cappricio.

We went to Cappricio's last year and my mouth still waters when I think of it They are so good and they gave each woman a rose and the specials were wonderful

Ken

Try Rum Runners, book a table next to the ocean and the food there now is superb thanks to Floris and Nannie. Has to be the most romantic setting on Bonaire

All the above are on our favorites list, and we were quite surprised at the improvement in the food at Rumrunner's when there on New Year's Eve. In the past we went for the setting/view but the food is now among the best on the Island.

Thanks everyone. We're leaning on Capriccio. Or Mona Lisa, but we may go to Mona Lisa the night we arrive to have a drink (just one, you know)...and then might end up eating there. We're only on Bonaire 4 nights this trip before checking out Curacao, so I can't leave without these two places!

Thanks again.

We decided on Capriccio and had a wonderful meal. The service and charm were great and the food was great at every turn. And with that wine list, they helped us pick a truly outstanding bottle of barberesco to make for a memorable night. We just had dinner with friends last night who are going to Bonaire for the first time this weekend and we made sure to tell them to go to Capriccio.
