Is there any type of "dining guide' available at the hotels. It sounds like there are so many restaurants to choose from, I won't know where to start when we get there.

Yes, Julie...there is a fabulous dining guide printed and distributed all over the island. You can most likely pick one up right at the airport on your way into Bonaire....there is usually a desk with all kinds of brochures and flyers at Flamingo Airport as well as the dining guide. If not there, the hotel should have copies. It is nicely done and very tempting! Have a great time on Bonaire and enjoy the wonderful dining, too. CArole

Folks might want to note that the Dining Guide which is available on-line is not current. Some (I think I counted two) of the restaurants no longer exist and there are some which are not represented on-line but are in the newest version.

The printed and current version is available throughout the island and usually at the resorts but definitely at Chat N Browse.

If any one wants a copy via snail mail, send me your address at info@chatnbrowse.com. There is a mailing service in the US that takes care of it.

Just read the Bonaire Reporter and there was an article on the Hausmann/s Folly. What happened to Chez Lucille? They are talking about doing it in I am appalled that was one of our favorite restaurants.

I heard a pretty good rumor that the restaurant will just be changing locations so that is good news. That someone wants to build a condo/apartment is horrible news. Locals have told me that the building itself has historical value whether or not that will save it from destruction is another matter. In the newest Bonaire Reporter Sept 17th which I just finished reading, there is a letter from Petri - the previous owner - and news that the new owner, as of January 2005, maybe considering a change in plans for th property.

Lucille is moving over to Harbor Village, at least that is what she told us last August.
