Here are some comments on restaurants we visited during our recent trip. For comments on other aspects of our trip see "Lee & Marilyn's Trip Report"

Mangos: This is the Sand Dollar restaurant. We ate dinner here our first night. So-so food and a little pricey. We also did several breakfasts mostly because it was convenient. They offered a breakfast of toast, cereals, coffee, juice and a nice selection of fresh fruit for $8.00.

Lost Penguin: Had breakfast here several times. Good food and lots of it at a very reasonable price. Their American breakfast consisted of 2 eggs, sausage AND bacon, toast, coffee, juice and a fresh fruit cup all for $9.00.

Zeezight: Came here for breakfast once. It was OK, but not as good as the Penguin. We also had several lunches here because of their air conditioned dining room…a nice escape from the noon day heat.

Bongos: Typical beach bar

The Lions Den: OK for lunch

It Rains Fishes: Based on their name, I was looking forward to lots of seafood entrees, however they didn’t have many fish dishes on the menu. The food was OK and the prices reasonable. Service so-so.

Maui Maui: Very exotic entrees. The portions are small, so you need two or three to make a meal. A little pricey for what you get. Service so-so.

Mona Liza: Had our best meal here. Very good food & service, but expensive.

Chibi Chibi: Average

Rumrunners (Captain Don’s): Fair
