Chez Nous is the little restaurant operation at the cooking/restaurant school behind the high school. We just had a superb lunch there, and HIGHLY recommend it!! Soup, bread/butter, salad, main entree and dessert --- all EXCELLENT -- and for just 15 Naf per person.

They are open for lunch for a single seating at 12:30 on Wednesday and Friday, and for dinner, seating at 6 pm on Tuesday and Thursday.

The students do all the cooking and serving (under supervision) and it's a very nice operation -- white cloth service all the way.

I had dinner there last year, and we made reservations for dinner next Thursday --- really looking forward to it again. I was never able to get through to them by phone, so I just stopped by on Wed. morning and made the reservation (service is by reservation only!!)

We loved our dinner experience there last year and plan to do the lunch in April. This time we'll have two 14 yr. olds with us and hope that they will enjoy the experience seeing and visiting with the students. We had the best dessert there last year...fried banana, carmel topping, a scoop of vanilla ice cream..Ummmmmm :-)

Since Chez Nouv is not open every day you should check their website for times. We missed out last October because of that. Maybe this fall we'll make it.

Criminy..I am so free but Mags is in school til 12:30...I wonder if we came at 12:45?? Let me know..otherwise I cannot do this...dinner is no problem if you can ever do this??

Anne, I shouldn't think that's a problem -- you'd just be a little late. We have friends arriving tonight, so I'll see what our schedule will look like. If we're going on Wed, I'll add you to the reservation and let you know.
