Hi everyone,
We have been reading the board for several weeks and have enjoyed it very much. We are coming to Bonaire for our 1st time on Oct 6. We can't wait!
We went to Aruba last year for our honneymoon and are coming to Bonaire this year since I have taken up diving. (Been diving wrecks off the coast of North Carolina this summer)
We for the most part love seafood but after my trip to Brazil last year and our honeymoom, we like good Argentine beef. I find it better than what we get in the states. Where should we go for
good steaks one night while in Bonaire?
I appreciate all the answers in advance.Thanks.

Richard's has the best filet mignon and escargot we have ever had !! We usually go twice when we are on island. Richard is from Boston, MA and his restaurant ir run quite efficiently. The prices comparable to a nice dinner in the states and you can't beat the sunsets. He is very busy and only has two seating nightly. You need to get there by 6 or 6:30 (when he opens) for the first seating, or wait til the second seating around 9 or 9:30

The beef you buy at Consales is generally from Argentina - tenderloin in different sizes - the 2/3 is mostly around Nafl 23 the kilo
The corazon de quadrille for a good stew is about Nafl 12 for 2 kilos
Warehouse is selling sometimes the argentinian beef sometimes it comes from Brazil.

Darlene, perfect and very accurate info.. I too would recommend Richards for steaks... my partner (being the adorable American that he is), knows a good steak when he sees one, and he sure does finish off his "Richards" steaks...:)
