I imagine it will be close to 9 p.m. by the time we get our bags and rental car. Where's a good place to grab a late bite on a Thursday evening? We'll be tired so it need not be a big production, just something simple and good. Thanks.

I remember eating late one night at the Old Inn, good Indonesian, huge portions.

Pasa Bon Pizza should still be open --- that's where we ate our first night last year. We were on the American Eagle flight from SJ.

The Old Inn is very close to the airport, but might be too much after a long trip --- however, food is GOOD.

One great place is Taverne Uno Mundo at Kaya C.E.B. Hellmund 17. It is located just a short walk north of the Divi Flamingo, between the Divi and Kralendijk. The owner, Marianne, was most gracious and accommodating. I highly recommend it.

Oh Yeh!! Uno Mundo was a great little pub with awesome Dutch food. It was about 50 steps from the Dive Inn. It's very open air which is nice. We were in having an Amstel one night and a Donkey came to the open door with a beer coaster in his mouth. No one paid much attention to him, so my husband said, "must be a local". I wish I had brought my camera, it was so Caribbean!

Nice to see you posting, Joann, my friend!! I also love both Pasa Bon Pizza and Uno Mundo. They both have great food and owners! The donkey has been a regular at Uno Mundo's for at least a year now and he is like clockwork. Just ask Marianne. Here is a picture that my friend sent me.

If you just want to get in and get out, I believe that Whataburger and KFC are open till 11. But I personally LOVE Pasa Bon Pizza!

Darlene, Thanks for posting the Uno Mundo Donkey. Gave me the chuckle of the day!! He's probably the same one I chased out of the garbage at 3:00 am.

Another vote for Pasa Bon Pizza. We arrived there very tired after our late arrival and had a wonderful pizza. Wonderful owners, great staff. They are on the road out of town heading north on the right side -- their sign has the only traffic light in Bonaire!

I have been doing a pizza taste test of sorts with Maggie..we always do Rum Runners and LOVE the pizza. Had Cozzoli's once but do not like the cheese they use.

Had Garden Cafe last night. 4 large pizza's (we had a party for a friend leaving BON) was 65.00 USD. It was just ok. I prefer Donna and Giorgios.

Pasa Bon has SUPER pizza but they need more wait staff. Two times this summer it was a very hectic stressed dining experience..but man, SUPER pizza..do take out..it is a better experience..to me..my 2 cents..

Thanks for all the suggestions! I think we'll start with Uno Mundo, just for the donkey. (I have no idea what Dutch food is like, but hey, donkey!)
