Restaurant ‘t Ankertje is Back

After some months of difficulty, Roland Gerzner and Sonja Diener are proud to announce the ‘t Ankertje will be back in operation on Sunday, August 26, 2001. Located on the waterfront near the South pier, the restaurant will offer barbeque at reasonable prices from Sunday to Thursday, both for lunch (11:00 to 1:30) and dinner (6 pm to 10 pm). We welcome you to come enjoy our famous BBQ ribs, steaks, sausages, chicken legs, wings burgers and salads. With all drinks all the time at Happy Hour prices you can afford to bring the family. Group reservations can also be made by calling 717-5216. ‘t Ankertje is back and better than ever and we look forward to again serving the community of Bonaire.

Are you the folks who purchased the restaraunt from Elke & Gerben? Or are you new?

Kari..there are happy hours/manager cocktail parties at the various resorts in dfferent nights... for my monet I always have fun at the one at Dons and at Buddy Dive Next door...From Don's you have three restaurants to pick from .. Rum Runners at Dons' (which I have to admit I am more experienced with their lunch)..Dock of the Bay at Buddys'' (Taco night is great) and Lion's Den at Lion Dive.. which I have been very happy with...just a couple of thoughts

You could also walk to the Sand Dollar Restaurant as well as Den Laman. And don't forget Lover's Ice Cream afterwards.

Just below the rotary at Harbour Village they are 4 restaurants - Admiral's Tavern, La Balandra, Kasa Coral and Compadres.

If you have a vehicle just about all restaurants on Bonaire are less than 10 minutes away - small island :-). The Rincon area and Lac Bay would be farther.
