Scanning the subjects, I see no mention of this restaurant. It may be the newest treasure on Bonaire. It is not scenic, and you sometimes have to put up with a fast car or a noisy motorbike. However, what it lacks in audio, it really makes up for in cuisine. These boys, from the pampas of Argentina, are putting out high quality food and a lot of it. If you get the mixed grill for two, please be prepared to take lunch and dinner away for the next day. The calamari I had for lunch one afternoon, as an entree, was the best I had on the island. Their wine list is only second to Capriccios, and the price is right. They have a rioja from Spain that was tremendous. Give it a try, either for lunch or dinner. Kathi and I had dinner there with Cynde, Kelly, Airey, and Cheryl. It even made it better. Thanks for the evening guys. You were some great company.

Sorry, I did not see "Questions on Casablanca" below until after my post. I agree with all.

Look at how pretty Kelly, Kathi, and Cheryl look down the row. Cynde, of course, took the picture, so her pretty face is not there. Airey and I were two lucky guys to dine with all these beautiful women!!! As you can see by my face, when Casablanca runs out of lobster, they are going to grill me. LOL I got a little sun that day, forgot the Banana 50. We are also missing our friend, the donkey. After 2 bottles of wine, we started conversing. I swear he asked me for my leftover chicken. I felt like Wilbur on Mr. Ed.

Buenos Aires on Bonaire?
Who would have made the connection that Casablanca is an Argentine restaurant on Bonaire, for most people it evokes Morocco, Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman.
In Kralendijk it spells a culinary treat! As the name implies in Spanish it is a restaurant in a white house. Here there authentic beef and sauceage from Argentina on the grill with splendid Argentine wine from Mendoza. Not to be confused with a chain that alludes to be from down under...
What a splendid addition to the wide variety available in Kralendijk. The portions are very generous as is the Argentine spirit. The meat, wine, and chicken are imported from Argentina and handled by an expert Gaucho at the grill. It is a family affair both from the service and client perspective. Not a sad ending at dinner for sure! Outside the cool Bonaire evening breeze provides a very nice setting. Buen provecho as they say in Argentina!
