Four of us had dinner Sat. night at Richard's. We've had many excellent meals there over the past 6 years and our most recent was also terrific. The shrimp cocktail was crisp and fresh, the steak was juicy and tasty, and the Dorado was seasoned just right. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing, and Richard stopped by each table several times. The great service was also remarkable since he was serving a party of 19, and also a party of 13 at the same time we ate.

Sounds like Richard is back on the island and paid attention to some of the postings on this site regarding the lack of service while dining. Hopefully, Richard's will regain its former reputation.

So glad to hear that things are looking up at Richards! We didn't eat there this year but always have in the past....we'll probably try it again when we go back next year.

We went to Richard's on 4th of July (our 7th time there)...Richard was on site and was bartending and also being his gracious self...the food and service was spectacular as it has always been when we where there...I had shrimp scampi and Rog had the land and sea (ummmmm)...the mango daquiris were also great!

I am sorry to hear all of your remarks of dissatisfaction at Richards. When I went to Bonaire last year, I ate at Richards 4 out of 6 nights, as the food is great. I agree that his service was horrible. Which brings me here on thie message board that I am planning on moving from NYC to Bonaire this year. I thought to ask Richard for a job there as I have been successful in the hospitality , food and beverage business here in NYC. I just want to make a change in my life and the quality too. I know I would be an asset to Richard and the customers who do enjoy his food
