Is Bonaire diving being effected by Tropical Storm Claudette...either with visibility or surface conditions? How about rain, wind, etc.. topside?

Hope everyone is having a good time. We will be there on the 24th.

Cris

Dunno but it's pissing it down here in Cayman - might have to put my gear on to get from the house to the jeep soon. The dogs are fast becoming expert snorkellers.

Plenty of rain but wind are not too bad - didn't stop last night's WNDC (Weds. Night Dive Club) dive at Parrot's Landing. Rather be here than say Cozumel right now.

I'd rather be anywhere right now diving, than say...Texas. Not that Texas is so bad, it's just that I need a dive vacation. 14 Days til Bonaire!!!! WoooooHoooo!!

I arrived on Ambergris Caye, Belize, yesterday after two weeks on the mainland (dragging my dive gear through the jungle)and spent today watching the town of San Pedro board up in anticipation of Claudette -- no diving today as everyone was preparing! Know this isn't an answer to the Bonaire question though!

Hi cris...signing in from bonaire:-) we had a lot of rain yesterday, and today it has been intermitent...the vis has gone from about 100 feet to about 50 or 60 depending on which site you are at...but it is still all good:-) Don't worry about it and have a great time when you get here! make sure to eat at casablanca when you are here. it is a new restaruant (argentine)and fabulous! Kelly and I went down to the sand dollar and did a nice giant stride off the new doc...the new facilities are fabulous:-)

We will be there in a couple of weeks; provided that there are no more storms, visibility should be back to normal by then, right?
