Hello

My name is ColinJD2385, and I am afraid I am new to the forum. Generally, I get along well in forum communities however ^_^

Anyways, I am a new diver. I just got certified less than a week ago perhaps, down at the sand dollar. Im now back in the states.

Ive only dived off Bonaire, of couse, since I just got certified there.

Anyways, my first boat dive I took (I was on the same boat as scubaleia (spelling?) we went out to the forest dive site off Klein Bonaire. IT WAS THE MOST INCREDIBLE DIVE IVE EVER DONE!

First off, there were about a billion black durgon floating around, which Ive never seen off the coast of bonaire. The coral was absolutly magnificent! God, I felt like I was swimming over these mountain cliffs of undesturbed coral! Then we found a turtle bigger than me, I mean he was massive, and we found a seahorse and everything

For anyone who is down in Bonaire now and wants to take a boatdive, I HIGHLY reccomend forest, although it may be a bit choppy, the ride is worth the dive!

I agree with you Forest is one of the most beautiful sites we went to and I believe it was where we found 3 seahorses. It is also one of the toughest sites to get on because it is so popular. When we were with Sand Dollar in May you can request the site you want to go and if you are the first to request that's where the boat goes. We had to request Forest 3 times because each time we got there another boat was already moored there. On the 3rd day we were asked to be at the dock a bit early and we left about 15 minutes early and raced with another boat and got there first! Sand $ may have older boats than the other dive resorts, but they are the fastest!
