Two things: Brian is looking for a dive buddy for our week there, May 7-15. Anyone?

And - does anyone know anything about Bruce Bowker's Diving? Know Linda Baker there?
Thanks.

we have stayed at carib inn four times. i'd stay there again this year but we are going for almost seven weeks instead of 7-10 days. bruce runs a great operation and has a first class dive shop. they are very accomodating and will ask for suggestions for what dive site you want to hit. we dove with linda a number of times over the past few years. she is a great divemaster...very knowledgeable about the area and sealife. and i really didn't believe her when she said that she'd leave me behind if i saw a whale shark and didn't tell her. she might have dragged me back on a towline behind the boat but she wouldnt have left me....she's a sweetheart like that. seriously, if we do boat dives this year i hope she is the divemaster...but they are all good at carib inn.

Linda is simply a marvelous person. I have stayed at Carib Inn three times in the past 2 years, and I am booked for 2 weeks in September again this year. We do mostly boat dives with Linda and the other divemasters at Carib Inn. We also do a twilight dive off Bruce's dock every day we are there. I love to watch the night critters come out and the day critters go to bed. Sunset is best viewed upon surfacing at the end of a dive!

Bruce's boats are impeccably maintained and his staff consistently display a respect for both divers and the reef that I dearly admire.

I hesitate to broadcast how great they are, because it might make getting a reservation at one of their 10 rooms even more difficult. (joke)

Linda guides the Town Pier night dive regularly and I found that to be a wonderful experience.

Just writing about it makes me long for September.

Thanks, Pat and Jeff for your input. I have just e-mailed her to introduce ourselves. Brian's diving instructor told us to look her up.
Cathy
