Don't believe what you read or hear, believe what you see. The visibility is consistently 40-60 feet because of the amount of life in the water. During the rainy season the in-shore water get cloudy with run-off, but what is out there at 40-60 feet ??? The reef and it's life is right there under your nose.

We were there this past August and the viz was around 75-80'.

CK - 40-60 in the shallows maybe - one you get to the reef slope it's usually 80-120 (may not seem that much, but I've measured it with a special placard and tape measure designed for measuring visibility).

What is your definition of cold? We have great viz locally (30-40 feet) but the water is a bit chilly at 42 degrees. I can't wait to get to Bonaire for the first time in June.

Cameron, my definition of cold is 36 degrees warmer than your "chilly"
