start of the double reef system, which overall is totally awesome...i think there's a bit more sand up that way...the vis is somewhat less normally than to the north which will affect color and photography a bit...i can tell you that angel city, a couple of sites south is fantastic and talk is alice in wonderland is also really good...

Angel city is on eof my all-time favourite dives and the double reef system in general is great.

Not to sound like a dummy but...explain, please, the double reef system. We were snorkeling on Bonaire, and did not visit Angel City. Thanks!

hi hazel,

i guess i owe you one...

the double reef system to the south of town, is that - a double reef separated by sand channels...the reef system is apparently somewhat younger than the denser reef system to the north...the reefs run a bit deeper than to the north and the vis doesn't seem to be quite as good as in the north...

i think the site, "alice in wonderland" perfectly describes a typical site in the double reef system, awesome coral stands that look like (more make you feel like you consumed) mushrooms:)

Thanks Bob/Vincent/Hans! Actually, you owe me several, but I'm not keepin' track or anything. Digital image in the making, you know...
