We have just returned from a great trip to Bonaire and this time we got our tanks from Green Submarine. We were extremely pleased with the service we received there and I recommmend them highly! Eric, Gabriella and Robbie could not have been friendlier or more helpful. We had some minor problems which required some repairs and parts and they handled everything promptly and efficiently and at a lower cost than I anticipated. Tanks are available anytime as well as any information you need. They were even able to hook me up with the local fishmonger. We have been diving a long time and have used a lot of dive shops (some of them very good) but I have never been as satisfied with any other dive operation.

Oops! I'm not sure who Gabriella is (too much Amstel I guess) but the lady at Green Submarine is Daniella.

We had a very bad experience with Green Submarine and their
instruction. A young woman from our group was taking her Open Water
certification from them because the resort we were staying had no
openings for her. Another place had recommended Green Submarine.
so they signed up for the four day class. She was both excited to learn
and a little nervous. Eric was having company coming so he was dealing
with them as well as teaching the class. Things were going ok
until day three when we started yelling at her and telling her she
couldn't do anything right. She had loosened the belt on her pack
to remove the tank and he went from one personality to another.
She was ready to quit but was told to get him to at least sign
her log book and we would find a place where she could finish her
course. He came back that afternoon and was much better but offered no
apology or explanation.
He was constantly slamming the resorts and their programs so I'm
wondering if he has had a few problems with his personality in the past
with the other resorts.
Anyway, she completed the class but it left a very bad taste. Hopefully,
it doesn't ruin her desire to continue diving or taking other courses.

So, how about on the west side? Like by Sunset beach, Captain Don's or 1000 Steps?

How did the National Park end hold up? I remember that end as being particularily great snorkeling.
