I've opened this new topic since the posting under "Divi Renovations" was taking us "out of thread" there. Also, I was hoping to encourage others who might like to post photos (U/W and otherwise) to share their images of Bonaire. At least for me, it helps to have a "fix" while waiting for the next vacation to come around.

Are these U/W pictures from your trip this Jan.?

In large part, yes, although some are from last year---for example, the angelfish (Leonora's was closed in January following Hurricaine Lenny---I think it probably still is).I went looking for the best from recent trips when putting together the album: it is all only Bonaire, though. You might like to know that most of the close-ups were shot on night dives on Calabas, right in front of the Divi. Since it was basically sheltered by Klein Bonaire, it did not suffer from Lenny too much.

We've had some of the best experiences in our "own backyard" the Calabass reef at Divi and usually when we didn't have the camera. Let you know this year's.Hope to get to see some of your photo opp's in person.
