This question is often asked and everybody has their 'favorites'... mine is the salt pier, awesome variety of fish and beautiful when the sun shines down through the water !

It depends on what you like. My favorite is baby beach on the windward side, I saw my first sharks there. On the other side, it's Ol'Blue. But most of the sites are great.

Very often the best site is in your own back yard - the chance to repeatedly dive a reef can be very rewarding in focussing the eyes to pick out more stuff.

I really like the double reef systems. Try Angel City or Alice in Wonderland in the South.

We just returned from a week of diving on bonaire...there are no bad dives..some are just better than others...I think our favorite this trip was LaDania's Leap to Karpata. Wednesday we saw 9 turtles...Fri we saw 5 turtles, green moray, one eagle ray and one MANTA ray plus the always present black sea horse at Karpata.

Most definitely Salt Pier. Great variety of sea life. Be sure to enter just south of the pier. You can walk in and out with no problems.

Selecting one dive site is difficult on Bonaire because of the great variety of coral and marine life. However, for the greatest diversity and concentration I would pick Bari Reef. A shore dive from the new Sand Dollar pier puts you right on the reef. On a recent trip we saw two brightly colored seahorses at 50 to 60 feet.
