Jeff (my husband)and I will be in Bonaire Sept 14 - 22. Is there any dive shops that rent underwater cameras? We have not yet gotten into the expense of owning one yet. We had used some "one time use" cameras in Mexico - they actually held up down to 90 ft, however, the viz wasn't particularly good when we were there (tropical storm disturbance was near by and things were alittle stirred up) so the pictures were not good. I would even be interested in trying a couple of "one time use" cameras again if they are available too. Any suggestions??

The last time I was at Buddy Dive in April 2000 they rented Sea & Sea MX-10s (which I now own) and Nikonos. (check out Buddy Dive Tried both and had fairly good luck. However their website only indicates they have Reefmasters right now. You might want to email them. Also found them on line at http://www.bonphototours.com/photorates.html

Karen, I know Photo tours (www.bonphototours.com) rents camera's. I don't know the brands they use. But if you just drop them a note (info@bonphototours.com) I'm sure they are willing to provide you with all the info you need.

I have rented the Sea & Sea MX-10 from Photo Tours. If I remember correctly they also rent the Nikonos. Very nice and friendly people there too.
