I am new here and I am wondering what the cam itself looks like. Does anyone have a pic of it?

Alan & Joan Zale, do you still have yours? Maybe Chet Wood?

You can see the old cam on the mooring on the History page:
http://www.bonairewebCams.com/BonaireWebCamHistory.html

The new ReefCam has a titanium housing so it is silver and the black video cable is now encrusted.

Here is the basic text:

Welcome to the Bonaire ReefCam!

The above camera is a live video camera from which images are captured every two (2) minutes and posted to our Web site on the Internet at:

http://www.BonaireWebCams.com

To make sure your image is captured properly, hang back about 6-10 feet (2-3 meters) from the camera for three (3) minutes. Let your friends and family know when you’ll be diving here so they can watch you over the Internet!

While waiting to have your picture captured, please watch your buoyancy. We have a lot of small but growing corals in the area which could be easily damaged or destroyed by a careless fin kick!!!
Remember the World is Watching!

If you see silt/sand on the red lens filter, please feel free to remove it by gently wiping a clean (non-greasy) finger over the filter.

Questions? Send e-mail to info@BonaireWebCams.com

Plus the Ouch! Stay off the bottom sign on the front of the mooring.

Where is the reef cam? What site?

Bill, the reef cam is at Small Wall. In Jake's 'backyard', so to speak. If you watch the beach cams, you'll frequently see dive boats on site.
