I'll be in Bonaire for a couple of weeks in late May freediving/snorkeling with my son. Will we need shorties or will swim suits and rash guards be enough? I've never been to Bonaire before. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Our family snorkelled in January with just swim suits, and T shirts to protect against sun burn.

Ditto, only we were there in March. My husband, who gets cold easily, wore a 3ml shorty. My son and I were fine with nothing...oops, I mean, swim suits and T shirts.

In late May, you won't need much. For snorkeling, just a swim suit. for freediving, maybe a skin is you want a little protection. The water temps are 78 or higher, so...Beware of the sun. It only takes a few minutes to get burned.
