I cannot wait to get to Bonaire, I am really looking forward to some warm water diving and the relaxation that comes to me in the tropical climes. As long as I am coming all the way down, is there any reason to check out the diving in A and C after I finsh with B?

I have never been enticed to dive Aruba, but Curacao is excellent! We stayed at Habitat the first year they opened and have been trying to get back ever since. The problem is that we like Bonaire so much better (all around, including easier shore diving) that we keep coming here (Bonaire).

I understand Aruba has some nice wrecks, but the reef diving is sub-par compared to Bonaire. Dove Curacao once, and it is somewhat different from Bonaire (less accessible but a slightly different sort of marine ecology).

Diving in Aruba? No. You will be spoiled by Bonaire and I can think of no site in Aruba that can compare. I used to live in Aruba and dove there often, but we'd go to Bonaire on weekends or vacations whenever we could. Aruba has great beaches, casinos and restaurants and if that interests you, by all means visit the island. But I wouldn't make a side trip there just to check out the diving - you'll be disappointed. The reef, water clarity and fish life just doesn't compare to Bonaire.

Thanks to all for the input. Even though I would like to visit Aruba and Curacao, I will just stick with Bonaire this time. The other islands aren't going to sink into the sea, so I'll catch them another time.
